At Mac Tíre I am committed to working hard with you, so that you can have the best possible learning experience. In return I will expect you to participate fully in all aspects of learning and daily routine. This involves a large amount of learning by doing and will include camping, collecting, carving, creating, cooking, craft, and above all cooperation. All participants are expected to camp out of doors in a small tent or basha for the duration of the course. So as you already can guess, a level of fitness is required, but willingness is indispensable.  

In this way of life pressure is for tyres and not for people, there is no expectation on performance, just come along and bring yourself if you are genuinely interested.

Knowledge of bushcraft is not required for the family course, Birch Bark, Wildwood or Grey Wolf course.

Children will learn a range of bushcraft and survival skills.
Group size is limited to ten students so book early to avoid disappointment.
